
The 24th annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration weekend kicked off Jan. 17 with a parade down Savannah Road in Lewes and continued later that day with a banquet at the CHEER Center in Georgetown. During dinner, banquet attendees were serenaded by recording artist NeeCee Trott. The night's main event was keynote speaker the Rev. Dr. Donald Morton, a leading religious and civil rights voice in the nation. ...
