Sussex County Council recently recognized the Cape Henlopen High School field hockey state champions with a proclamation. The team finished the 2015 season 19-0 winning its fifth straight state title and its seventh championship since 1979. Cape topped rival Delmar 3-1 in the Nov. 21 finals.
