An appliance fire Jan. 20 caused minor damage to a Pine Valley home, fire officials say. Firefighters from Rehoboth Beach and Lewes responded at 7:18 a.m. to a home on Spruce Road after a stove caught fire, said Warren Jones, spokesman for the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Co.
