In late 2011, the Overfalls Foundation, a maritime heritage organization in Lewes and home of the Lightship Overfalls and the Delaware Maritime Hall of Fame, adopted two derelict orphans. Over the next five years more volunteer hours than anybody could count and great community support turned the orphans into valuable assets in the foundation's collection.
