Floating dock proposed at Lewes ferry terminal

The Delaware River and Bay Authority has plans to construct a floating dock adjacent to the current Cape May-Lewes Ferry Terminal pier. The authority has filed for a permit from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to build the dock, consisting of four, 45-foot-long by 8-foot-wide sections connected to a pier with a 32-foot-long gangway.
