Officer injured in courthouse scuffle over credit-card knife
A Bridgeville man faces charges after police say he entered the Sussex County Courthouse Aug. 28 with a knife disguised as a credit card, and then fought with police when they confiscated it. Millsboro man fined for shark fishing
A Millsboro man, 49, was fined after police say he removed a shark from the water. Robert W. Borgmann Jr. was in a vessel on the water Aug. 22 when he removed a prohibited shark species from the water, said Cpl. John McDerby of the Division of Fish & Wildlife. Borgmann was issued a fine totaling $107, including court costs, McDerby said.

An Ocean View father faces charges after police say he shot his daughter in the leg while he examined a gun.
