DNREC Division of Fish & Wildlife announces 2016/17 Sunday deer hunting dates; now seeks public comment on state wildlife area Sunday deer hunting locations, times

With a recent change in Delaware law, deer hunting is allowed on five specified Sundays on private lands and on designated public lands beginning with the 2016/2017 hunting season, DNREC's Division of Fish & Wildlife announced today. Sunday deer hunting dates for the upcoming season will be Oct. 9, Nov. 13 and 20, Dec. 11 this year, and Jan. 15, 2017.
