A Wilmington man faces a boating charge after officials say he ran aground in July north of Indian River Inlet. Robert F. Leslie Jr., 39, was charged with inattentive operation of a vessel, said Sgt. John McDerby of the Division of Fish and Wildlife. McDerby said Leslie ran his vessel onto a beach north of the inlet. Leslie was released on $250 unsecured bond pending a court appearance at a future date.
