Milton voters have chosen Ted Kanakos to serve as Milton's next mayor. Kanakos received 225 votes at the March 5 municipal election, earning the mayoral seat over incumbent Mayor Marion Jones who received 208 votes and Cliff Newlands who received 145 votes. Voters also re-elected Michael Cote and James "Sam" Garde to council, over opponents John Bushey, Charlie Fleetwood and Virginia "Ginny" Weeks. Check back for ... Source
